Frequently asked

Exam questions we hear most

Why is NEET mandatory for MBBS admission?+

NEET-UG is a standardised examination that assesses and ranks candidates on knowledge, skills and aptitude essential for medical education. It ensures transparency, fairness and equal opportunity, and is mandatory for MBBS/BDS admission in government, private, deemed or central universities in India.

What are the current NEET-UG qualifying cut-offs?+

For 2025: General 164 (50th percentile), SC/ST/OBC 129 (40th percentile), General-PwD 121 (45th percentile), SC/ST/OBC-PwD 107 (40th percentile). These have held steady since 2024; 2026 cut-offs will be announced closer to counselling.

Do I need NEET for MBBS abroad too?+

Yes. Since 2018, NEET-UG is mandatory for any Indian student pursuing MBBS abroad if they intend to practise in India. We only counsel NEET-qualified students for our partner universities abroad.

What happens after I graduate from a foreign medical college?+

You must clear the NMC's licensing exam (FMGE/NExT) to register and practise medicine in India. We help build a preparation timeline into your final academic years.

What if my NEET score is on the lower side?+

We match lower scores to colleges and countries with a wider eligible band rather than pushing options you may struggle to get a seat in through regular counselling.

Not sure your NEET score is enough?

Send it over — we'll tell you honestly which colleges and countries are realistic.
